The Village Hall was officially opened by the Earl of Londsdale on the 5th October 1933 and was used extensively in those days for dances, whist drives, children’s parties, concerts and many other activities.

In previous years the Village Hall has housed a Youth Club, Badminton and Kick Boxing Clubs, a Scottish dancing group, Fitness Classes and an Art Show. It is now home to the Archery Club, Eagle Bowmen of an evening.
